2010 - Present

Sprouts Farmers Market

Creative Director

  • Established and mentored a team of highly talented creative professionals consisting of graphic, digital and production designers as well as a video and photography productions team.

  • Defined positioning and usage guidelines for the brand. Maintains brand standards to ensure appropriate use of brand logos, images, and creative assets.

  • Leads collaborative discussions to drive creative strategy, creative reviews and innovative brainstorming sessions across multi-channel departments as well as all outside vendors and media agencies.

  • Drives creative strategy for all marketing initiatives including promotional and master brand campaign plans and collateral. Manages statements of work and contracts with vendors as well as developing and maintaining an over $2M annual creative budget.

  • Oversees the development and execution of all creative work including idea generation/brainstorming sessions, all creative design, as well as photo and video shoots. In addition to directing on set with both in-house and contract photographers.

  • Leads collaboration between project management teams as well as a traffic manager in the process development and assignment of all creative requests. Provides quality control, monitoring and compliance on all projects.

  • Sourced, implemented and staffed the on-boarding of a digital asset management (DAM) system. Lead discovery sessions as well as defined users, roles, categories and organized the metadata to ensure a successful launch and UX across departments.

Scottsdale Desert Stages Theatre

Graphic Designer & Webmaster

  • Defined the design standards for all collateral associated with the theater's brand including marketing, advertising, and PR collateral.

  • Maintains all creative contractual obligations associated with the seasons
    show artwork.

  • Designs logos, posters, banners, signage, flyer's, programs, rack cards, show cards, brochures, social media assets, and much more.

  • Collaborates with multiple department heads in the development of all materials.

  • Creative directed the redesign and revamp of the theater's last 2 websites.

  • Works with committees on an annual basis in the creation of all collateral associated with the theater's gala auction event.

  • Maintains and updates the website through WordPress 

2006 - 2008

Smithcraft Signs, Inc.

  • Developed conceptual ideas for designing the form of manufactured custom signs.

  • Consulted with engineers, project managers, manufacturers, tradesman and clients to establish desired design concepts.

  • Evaluated design ideas based on factors such as appearance, design function, serviceability, materials, methods of engineering, and client specifications.
